Kampar Gathering Trip August 2022 (Part 1/5)

All ready to go out jalan jalan 

Yummy breakfast prepared by Janet;

Curry beehoon with char siew and pok pok chooi (fried beancurd skin) 

Our lunch are Assam Laksa, Chee Cheong Fun & Ais Kacang.

 After lunch, we go strolling around Kampar town;   strolling at Kampar Street Art lane

This used to be called Japanese Garden but named Taman Muhibah now.

We all used to come here during our teenager time to spend time together.

Janet cooked chicken curry, vege soup and blanch vege for our dinner

CWC came over to join us after her work; dinner together. As usual, Janet is happy to have a wefie 

 

Janet asked me to change into a red Tshirt if Ive brought one so it look like celebrating "advance" CNY 🤣.  Janet like ang ang colour 🤣

Right after we both had our breakfast this morning,  Janet busy herself scraping off the sugar cane skin, chopping into pieces then smashing it with the stone pestle.  Look, how happy she is doing this to welcome our friends!

Cleaning the sugar cane pieces before pounding it in the mortar and pestle !

Thank you Janet, this sugar cane drink is so refteshing.
